HANOVER, Germany -- The compact XMP1-LCC (Large Cross-Connect, 3HU) has impressive SDH cross-connect capacity from 64-kbps level, to STM-1/4/16, as well as high availability and flexible upgradeability. With its powerful cross connect the XMP1-LCC is ideal for usage as a Next-Generation multiplexer in dedicated and public telecommunications networks.

KEYMILE is one of the leading manufacturers of Next-Generation data transmission systems. By launching the XMP1-LCC, it is putting a Next-Generation multiplexer on the market that combines PDH/SDH and Ethernet technology. The system is particularly suitable for networks offering Ethernet services, but where the reliability of PDH/SDH technology is still required for transmitting mission-critical data. This is for example the case in the dedicated networks of utility companies, transport companies that run railways and public transport, and operators of waterways and motorways. Applications for safety and defence, as well as air traffic control, can be implemented with a high degree of availability. In mobile telephony network access, the XMP1-LCC is ideal for grooming and consolidating 64 kbps and 2 Mbps connections.

The XMP1-LCC's system architecture delivers simultaneous operation of Ethernet and TDM technology. This future-proof design enables seamless migration of TDM to Ethernet and guarantees long-term reduction of investment and operational expenses.
