PRAGUE, CZ -- Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. is pleased to announce its unaudited financial results for the nine months of 2006. These results are consolidated and prepared according to International Financial Reporting Standards.

CapEx of CZK 4.0 billion (+ 26.0%)
Free Cash Flow of CZK 12.8 billion (- 6.6%)
Group Headcount 9,936 (- 3.0%)
OIBDA guidance for 2006 upgraded (to around +2% from flat)

Consolidated Financial Statements

Revenues, operating costs and OIBDA Consolidated revenues (business and recurring revenues) reached CZK 45.6 billion in the first nine months of 2006, up 0.6% yoy, and up 2.0% yoy in Q3 alone. Mobile business was the key driver of this growth, while the fixed business continued to decline. Total consolidated operating costs reached CZK 24.1 billion, down by 1.1% yoy. Consolidated OIBDA amounted to CZK 22.2 billion, up by 4.1% yoy confirming the strong performance and tight cost control seen in previous quarters of 2006. OIBDA margin (OIBDA over Business revenues) reached 48.9% in the first nine months of 2006, compared to 47.2% in the same period of 2005. OIBDA margin in Q3 reached 49.6%.
