SAN JOSE, Calif. -- New Focus, Inc., (Nasdaq: NUFO - news), a leading supplier of innovative fiber-optic products for next-generation optical networks under the Smart Optics for Networks(TM) brand, today announced its newest wavelength management solution, a 50 gigahertz interleaver with the unique combination of ultracompact size, high performance and passive operation. The device enables cost-effective, high capacity networks by doubling capacity for OC-192, or 10 gigabits per second systems.
