NeuStar promotes two senior VPs in customer service delivery and legal organizations

WASHINGTON -- NeuStar, a provider of essential clearinghouse services to the North American communications industry and Internet service providers around the world, announced today two senior vice president promotions in the company's Customer Service Delivery and Legal organizations.

Christine Walker has been promoted to senior vice president customer service delivery, effective immediately. Walker will have responsibility for all customer-facing operations, service management, customer deployment and support. Additionally, she will lead NeuStar's Quality Management organization focusing on operational excellence.

Walker has more than 20 years of experience in developing and deploying products and services that facilitate competition in the North American and European markets. Most recently, she served as vice president of Operations Support Systems (OSS) at NEXTLINK, a facilities-based broadband provider. Walker joined NeuStar in 2000.

Martin Lowen has been promoted to senior vice president, effective immediately. Lowen will continue to serve as general counsel and secretary of the company, and is responsible for all of the company's legal affairs. Additionally, Lowen participates in strategic planning with the other members of the executive team.

Lowen has practiced law for 15 years, with ten in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining NeuStar, he was responsible for corporate law and commercial legal matters at TeleGlobe Communications and MCI Communications Corporation, respectively. Lowen joined NeuStar in 2000.

"These changes, involving executives with such extensive backgrounds, demonstrate the strength of NeuStar's management team and overall commitment to customer service and operational excellence," said Chairman and CEO Jeffrey E. Ganek.

Other promotions: Steve Boyce was promoted to vice president and controller; Sean Corcoran was promoted to vice president strategic analysis; George Rau was promoted to vice president human resources and Bryan Carter was promoted to facilities and procurement vice president.
