SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Valiant Networks, Inc. today announced the addition of BroadSoft, Inc., a leading provider of service delivery systems for enhanced telephony services, to its customer base. By signing BroadSoft, Valiant Networks has reached the 20th customer milestone in only 15 months of operation. Valiant Networks, a managed network services provider that designs, integrates and manages next-generation telecom networks, will assist BroadSoft in evaluating and testing the performance and interoperability of its service delivery system with other third party networking equipment. BroadSoft has already made use of Valiant Networks' services to test interoperability with a third-party softswitch that is available at Valiant Networks' Network Integration Lab. The recently tested solution is now in deployment in a live, revenue-generating service provider network, enabling the rapid delivery of next generation voice services to the enterprise market. "We wanted to provide an extra step in the solution architecture we offer our customers," said Edward Pittarelli, vice president of system solutions at BroadSoft. "Valiant Networks' independent testing facility provides a forum for our customers' equipment to be tested with greater ease and at a lower cost. The result is that they get a true multi-vendor perspective." Valiant Networks Inc.
