PacketFront announces strategic cooperation with Tiscali
December 9, 2003
STOCKHOLM -- Swedish PacketFront, leading supplier of purpose-built solutions for true broadband networks, announces a strategic cooperation with Europe’s fastest growing independent ISP: Tiscali. Both companies believe that their combined know-how and experiences will create new – and expand existing – business.
"PacketFront and Tiscali share the same vision about open broadband networks," explains Per Olof Stark at PacketFront. "And we are convinced that our cooperation will lead to increased customer value and therefore an increased market presence."
"Since Tiscali acts as service provider in some of the networks that utilize PacketFront’s access solution, we have chosen to install their service provider management tool SMT," says Niklas Lydahl at Tiscali. "SMT gives us control of users and services, while also securing functions such as security, traceability etc. These are crucial aspects for us service providers," Lydahl concludes.
