TOKYO -- NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today that its Arcstar™ Global IP-VPN service has achieved Japan's first Cisco Powered TelePresence™ Network Connection designation by establishing the resources and procedures to deploy, manage and support Cisco TelePresence, an advanced video conferencing solution that combines high-definition video, CD-quality audio and interactive elements to create a unique "in-person" experience over a network.
To achieve the designation, Arcstar Global IP-VPN meets all the requirements in service delivery processes including infrastructure design, service specification, operation process, and reporting. The service ensures the capability in offering high-quality, reliable service to support multinational enterprises’ real-time applications such as Cisco TelePresence in a global scale.
