ZURICH -- Swisscom has launched an innovative new range of Managed Services for corporate customers. The solutions combine applications and a network with consulting, planning and operation, and are offered at a fixed price per user and month. As a first step, Swisscom will expand its current range of offerings in the field of Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC), with more to follow.

With its new range of Managed Services, Swisscom is responding to the changing communications needs in today's business world. Integrated communications solutions are becoming increasingly complex to operate and tie up ever more corporate capital and expertise. Companies' growing need to concentrate on core business is accelerating the trend towards infrastructure outsourcing.

To meet these customer requirements,! Swisscom is combining its new Managed Service offering, in a first step, with UCC applications, a secure network (LAN, WAN) and connectivity to the Internet and the telephone network. As well as providing advice, Swisscom will assume responsibility for planning and operating the solution. It will operate separate systems for each customer and offer maximum flexibility and scalability in order to accommodate individual customer needs. Experts in Swisscom's operations centre will monitor operation and security round the clock and ensure that the applications are always up to date.
