City of Osseo, Minnesota selects RoamAD and Unplugged Cities for citywide WiFi network

SAN FRANCISCO -- RoamAD, supplier of the most advanced converged citywide Wi-Fi and public safety networks, today announced that the City Council of the City of Osseo, Minnesota voted unanimously to deploy a RoamAD citywide Wi-Fi network.

The RoamAD network will be deployed and managed by Unplugged Cities of Fridley, Minnesota.

"The City of Osseo continues to look for ways to provide additional services that will benefit current and future residents and businesses. We see a city-wide wireless network as a way to encourage families and companies to work and live in The City of Osseo, Minnesota," said John Hall, Mayor of The City of Osseo, Minnesota.

The next steps are for RoamAD and Unplugged Cities to complete the final network design maximizing coverage and performance.
