MEF is already at work on 5G transport constructs, and its service enablement capabilities will also help in both fixed and mobile environments, says Dan Pitt, MEF senior vice president. That support will include enabling network-agnostic MEF services over 5G endpoints and contribution of MEF constructs for transport capabilities, service interfaces and application programming interfaces.
