LayerOne Opens Another Nexus

DALLAS -- LayerOne today launched its flagship NEXUS Optical Distribution Exchange (TM) in Dallas' premier telco hotel, 2323 Bryan St., speeding network interconnection and making it easier for carriers to do business with one another.

Using LayerOne's electro-optical distribution system, service providers can connect virtually anything to anything, from a DS-1 to an OC-192 or from a 10 Mbps to a 10 Gbps Ethernet connection. LayerOne speeds network scalability and profitability by bringing buyers and sellers together under one roof and streamlining the entire interconnection process. The launch of the Dallas NEXUS Exchange brings the number of LayerOne facilities currently in operation to three, including NEXUS Exchanges in Chicago and Miami. Another 12 sites are under construction.
