Kotura Adds CTO

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. -- Kotura, Inc., a leading supplier of silicon photonics products, today announced the appointment of Mehdi Asghari, Ph.D. as Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Asghari joined Kotura to lead the company's technology and product development activities.

Dr. Asghari brings to Kotura over 15 years of progressive engineering and management experience within the silicon photonics and optoelectronics industries. Most recently, Dr. Asghari served as Vice President of Research and Development of Bookham, Inc., where he was responsible for the research, development, and manufacturing transfer activities behind all of Bookham's silicon-based technologies and products.
