IP Infusion, Greenfield Partner on IPv6

LAS VEGAS -- IP Infusion, a leading provider of intelligent network software for enhanced IP services platforms, and Greenfield Networks, the emerging leader in world-class Ethernet switch silicon technology, today announced the availability of the IP Infusion ZebOS® Advanced Routing Suite software for the Greenfield Packetry switching family and its reference design systems, GH3032 and GH6000. The combination of Greenfield’s Packetry™ architecture and IP Infusion’s software allows system manufacturers to introduce fully tested Gigabit Ethernet enterprise and metropolitan switching solutions, while lowering development risks and accelerating time-to-market.

The GH3032 is a complete 32-port Gigabit Ether­net Layer 2/3/4 switch development system. The GH6000 is a 128-port high-density Gigabit Ethernet reference chassis platform. These reference designs are based on Greenfield Networks’ high-performance and scalable Pack­etry family of switching products and are preloaded with an evaluation version of IP Infusion ZebOS Advanced Routing Suite, supporting a variety of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols, including IPv4, IPv6, and MPLS.

IP Infusion’s ZebOS software is a scalable, robust, and fully integrated Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing and switching software solution that allows OEMs to quickly add networking capabilities to their new and existing lines of switching products. The Packetry architecture coupled with ZebOS software enables customers to rapidly develop a wide range of fixed and chassis-based switching solutions with advanced features such as IPv4/IPv6 unicast and multicast routing, MPLS switching, and layer 2/3 VPNs.
