David Hill has been appointed president of IntelliSense Corp., a subsidiary of Corning Inc.

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- IntelliSense Corporation, a subsidiary of Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW - news) announced today that David Hill has been appointed President. Hill brings a wealth of experience in operating semiconductor and packaging companies, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IntelliSense's CAD for MEMS(TM), MEMS design, development, and manufacturing businesses. Prior to joining IntelliSense, Hill was Vice President and General Manager of the CAMALOT division of Speedline Technologies, a leading supplier of semiconductor surface mount and packaging solutions. At CAMALOT, Hill drove revenue growth for the unit, winning three major industry awards for new products and assuming a leadership position in the industry. "We are excited to have David on board," remarked Mark Newhouse, vice president and general manager of Corning's Optical Networking Devices division, within which IntelliSense operates. "David has extensive experience in managing business growth.
