Wedo Buys CAPE

LISBON, Portugal -- We are delighted to announce that WeDo Consulting – Sistemas de Informação, S.A., (“WeDo”), a fully owned subsidiary of Sonaecom with business in the IT/IS sector, has today signed an agreement for the acquisition of the total share capital of CAPE Technologies Limited (“CAPE”).

With this acquisition, WeDo will become the world leader in the Revenue Assurance software integration market, with 370 employees spread across 11 offices worldwide and with a customer base of 60 clients present in 35 countries. Although purchased in practice, the two companies are merging in spirit, and we can now look to the future together with great confidence as a giant in the RA market.

The Telecom Management/SI business of CAPE Technologies will continue as a separate independent company which shall assume the goodwill and responsibilities of CAPE Technologies Ltd. in respect of its LTS/EB/NEAT products, system integration business with our customers in Ireland and UK, and the local consulting business.
