HD FiberSystems Offers DWDM Modules

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- HD FiberSystems, one of the leading innovators of manufacturing fiber optics components and integrated optical modules, is announcing today its 200GHz 16 channel and 100GHz 32 channel DWDM modules, packaged in compact industry standard 1U and 2U rackmounts respectively. This rackmount design provides easy deployment and cost effectiveness into optical networking environment.

The new 200GHz 16 and 32 channel DWDM rack modules are manufactured based on thin-film filter technology. Those two modules have 4.0dB and 6.5dB lowest insertion loss compared to the current market modules. These two modules also consist of high center wavelength accuracy and high adjacent band isolation characteristics. Each DWDM module has evaluated by Bellcore test, ensuring a stable and reliable functionality under severe environmental conditions.
