MALDEN, Mo. -- Falcon Communications, Inc., the premier provider of communications systems and services to the nation's rural telecom providers, has announced IP/Complete(TM), the first all-in-one IPTV delivery system designed for the country's smaller telecom providers. The only system from 'bird to box', IP/Complete is the answer for Tier 2 and Tier 3 telcos who need to stay viable and competitive in today's marketplace with the triple-play voice, data, and video offering to subscribers.

"We are the only IPTV solution that is complete from end-to-end," said Donald R. Cook, President and CEO for Falcon. "Now, we are getting a few naysayers challenging that position, but we stand by our claim. It's one system from one company."

The IP/Complete standards-based system begins with a custom design and flat subscriber-based pricing. The composite network then integrates Falcon's elite group of premier manufacturers and service providers for the component delivery structure. The structure is complete from satellite, router, and DSLAM on past the middleware where other systems end. The Falcon system then advances with installation, signal management, and testing, with final delivery to the set-top box within the subscriber's home. It is fully supported, 24/7, exclusively by Falcon, with absolutely no other handler in the mix.

IP/Complete, the first and only end-to-end option for the nation's more than 1500 rural telcos also includes:

  • Fully flexible 145-channel selection (with 30 HDTV channels coming in 2007)

  • Local off-air RF HD Channels - four channels included and standard in system

  • Fully secure and encrypted signal throughout

  • A 5-meter dish (not 3.8), and is complete with only a single on-site relay rack

  • EAS standard across ALL channels for maximum safety-not just locals

  • One-call, full-Falconite service team response on ANY portion of the network

  • Falcon's two-year slate of planning and testing activities with IP/Complete is culminating with final beta-site test fulfillment and full-service turn-on this month at BPS Telephone in Bernie, Missouri.

"We are confident that IP/Complete provides the only end-to-end IPTV product that just also happens to be the most cost-effective, and fully tested and supported solution, for any of today's rural telecom providers," added Falcon's President Cook.
