Whale Communications included in Gartner's SSL VPN Magic Quadrant

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Whale Communications today announced that it has been recognized in the visionary quadrant in worldwide independent research and advisory firm Gartner Inc.'s prestigious SSL VPN Magic Quadrant report. The report looked at 16 vendors in the SSL VPN space and evaluated them based on their market presence, vision and their ongoing ability to execute.

According to the report, titled "Gartner SSL VPN Magic Quadrant for 1H2004", enterprises can expect immediate value from investments in SSL VPNs when traditional VPNs are not required. The report states that the simplicity and portability of SSL VPNs can lower the cost to implement due to ease of deployment and support. It notes that visionaries understand where the market is going or have a vision of changing market rules.
