VADODARA, India -- Internet Telephony offers intrinsic benefits of cost and flexibility. At the same time, legacy telephony infrastructure and habits cannot be replaced overnight. People desire the best of both worlds -- lower cost of VoIP and convenience of using existing telephony products and methods. It is specially designed for small business and residential users to offer them the advantages of low tariff Internet Telephony.

Matrix SETU ATA range of products is designed to meet this requirement of converting VoIP network to traditional telephony interfaces and vice-versa. Matrix SETU ATA is a family of SIP based Analog Terminal Adaptors (ATA), it interfaces legacy telephone devices with IP-based networks.

We have now added a new member in our ATA family, which also offers connectivity to GSM networks besides standard IP connectivity. It allows a user to use a standard telephone instrument and yet make VoIP and GSM calls. With the new entrant we have formed a complete portfolio of ATAs adding on to the complete IP solution.

Sajeev Nair, Product Manager of Matrix ComSec said, “Sometimes a higher configuration device may not be a fruitful investment taking into consideration what the customer needs today or may require in the near future. With the compact but versatile SETU ATA211G offering VoIP-PSTN, VoIP-GSM and GSM-PSTN connectivity, we aim to deliver the most accurate solution to the new world of IP Telephony.”
