TORONTO -- ALOE Systems (formerly MERA Systems), a reputable developer of carrier-grade softswitch solutions, has officially partnered with Vera Networks to broadly expand its business and sales growth in North America. The companies will announce the partnership at Comptel Plus Spring 2011 Convention & EXPO held on March 20-23, 2011 in Las Vegas.

Based in Canada, ALOE Systems operates globally through a network of representative offices thus providing solutions for hundreds of carriers worldwide. The US market has always been among top priorities for ALOE Systems, though to use the full potential of the region the company needed a strong presence in the States. To develop its market position in the US, ALOE Systems employed the help of Vera Networks.

Vera Networks is a systems integrator of telecommunication software, hardware and services for telecommunications carriers, service providers, and medium to large enterprise customers. Originated from Telaris Communications, a facilities-based international wholesale voice transit service provider, the company has an extensive experience in sales and support of telecom services and solutions.

"At a point, when we were analyzing the market, we figured a different approach would boost our sales," stated Vitaly Potapov, Regional sales director at ALOE Systems, USA & Canada, "We approached friends from the telecom industry and found that many customers would prefer to go through a turnkey approach that encompasses all aspects of the networking instead of a partial solution. As for now we're moving from a partial sales direct approach to the complete solution approach, and a reliable partner, such as Vera Networks, is indispensable there."

Joined together, ALOE Systems and its distributor will help the US carriers grow and feel more vibrant by deploying intelligent solutions that boost their network performance.

"My team and I have been in the wholesale carrier space for a number of years," stated Christopher Bradish, CEO of Vera Networks, "We will be developing the US market for ALOE Systems, and creating strategic relationships through direct sales of our own, as well as through supporting resellers. We're a systems integrator and can do anything from providing a complete network solution, to providing one or many parts of this solution. In addition to supporting and selling ALOE solutions, we've also been using MVTS II for about two years in our carrier business and we feel very strongly about this softswitch as it's an excellent product."

"The partnership with Vera Networks signifies a gradual transition from direct sales and further development of distribution channels," comments Konstantin Nikashov, CEO of ALOE Systems,"As we move towards large-scale carriers, we need to provide them with comprehensive solutions deployed with a help of a strong partner with significant expertise in implementation and support both of software and hardware. We believe a strong presence in the US will further increase our market share, enable us to provide fast deployment and top-quality support, and design solutions for the US carriers. We hope for lost-lasting and mutually beneficial partnership with Vera Networks."
