Viper Hires President/CEO, COO

SAN DIEGO -- Viper Networks, Inc. (OTC:VPER) announced today the appointment of Ronald J. Weaver as Chief Operations Officer and Stephen Young as President and Chief Executive Officer, respectively. In addition, both Mr. Weaver and Mr. Young have agreed to join the Board of Directors. Both of these seasoned executives joined the Company following its acquisition of Coliance Communications, Inc. last month.

Mr. Weaver will lead the worldwide sales team in expanding global account partnerships and setting strategic direction. He will also play an instrumental role in defining corporate strategies, including product and sales development and implementation plans. Mr. Weaver has been active in the VoIP industry since the inception holding senior executive positions with Panasonic, Netrue, Franklin Telecom, Global IP, plus he was a key member of the turn around team that led Western Digital back to profitability. Mr. Weaver guided the launch of successful VoIP projects in Eastern Europe, Latin America and South East Asia utilizing fiber and satellite technologies. Mr. Weaver consults with several international telecom ministries to provide direction and implementation plans for VoIP integration. A frequent convention speaker and author of several articles on VoIP, he is known for his ability to entertain convention audiences while de-mystifying the world of VoIP.

"The additions of Mr. Weaver and Mr. Young to our executive management team is key to our overall corporate goal of driving revenue growth on a global basis by augmenting our executive sales leadership capabilities," said John Castiglione of Viper Networks, who has been serving as interim President and CEO while the Company has been seeking a permanent candidate.

Prior to joining Viper Networks, Mr. Young served as the President and CEO of Coliance Communications. Mr. Young is industry renowned for his management and leadership skills, as well as the identifying and building of key strategic relationships. Before joining Coliance, Mr. Young's San Diego, California-based consulting company provided sales and marketing expertise to wireless telephony and other technology related companies. Mr. Young developed his sales, marketing, and management skills through the establishment and growth of two Orange County, California-based companies offering environmental protection and remediation products and services.

Mr. Young and Mr. Weaver join Jason Sunstein and John Castiglione who will stay on as V.P. Finance and V.P. Marketing, as well as board members, respectively.
