Texas Co-op Picks GB for VOIP

AUSTIN, Texas -- General Bandwidth, a leading Voice overIP equipment manufacturer enabling rapid deployment and new servicerevenue generation over broadband networks, has been selected byGuadalupe Valley Telecommunications Cooperative (GVTC), Texas' largesttelecommunication cooperative, to deliver cable telephony services overGuadalupe Valley's hybrid fiber coax (HFC) network.

In July 2005,they deployed the General Bandwidth G6 Universal Media Gateway as theylaunched Digital Choice Unlimited phone service to customers in Boerne,Texas.
