TDC Picks Axiom to Activate DSL

READING, U.K. -- Axiom Systems Ltd, an innovative provider of Service Delivery software, today announced TDC, the incumbent and leading provider of communications services in Denmark, as a customer. TDC is using Axiom's AXiOSS(r) Suite of Products to automate the Service Delivery process and activate DSL services as it expands its penetration of the corporate and residential network services market in Denmark and across Europe.

TDC have purchased Axiom's Business Process Manager, (part of the Order-to-Service (O2S) product), Inventory Management (IMS) and Service Activation Framework Environment (SAFE) as their strategic platform for developing DSL services to residential and core customers. AXiOSS will be critical to TDC's service delivery infrastructure as they look to bolster their capacity in areas such as Internet protocol (IP) core, fixed and remote access, broadband aggregation and Voice over IP (VoIP), to cater for growth in services to residential and corporate customers.

Responsible for the TDC Network and for all operational instalments into the network, TDC's requirements included the upload of network information from the elements and then the activation and rollback of DSL and ATM services on the network, for more than 3.4 million customers.
