Sorrento Names Europe Chief

SAN DIEGO -- Sorrento Networks (Nasdaq:FIBR - News), a leading supplier of intelligent optical networking solutions for metro and regional applications, today announced that it has appointed Manfred Seehagen to lead the company's business in Europe as vice president, European operations. Seehagen will manage European operations from Stuttgart, Germany.Seehagen joined Sorrento Networks in March 1999 as sales and marketing director for Germany and has assumed increased responsibilities ever since.
