OTTAWA -- Solace Systems, the leader in multiservice message routing to create application aware networks, announced today a significant expansion of its sales organization. The company has now established sales presence in London, Paris, Sydney, Toronto, New York and Los Angeles, with additional expansion planned for 2006. Establishing global sales coverage has allowed Solace to advance its strategy to deliver intelligent networking services in partnership with large service providers and other leading-edge businesses.

“We’re hearing the same story from companies around the world. The time for more intelligent service provider networks to evolve out of the IP primordial soup is now,” said Craig Betts, president and CEO of Solace Systems. “Establishing sales presence in all major world geographies has allowed us to better address global market needs and accelerate our business.”

Since the April launch of Solace’s flagship product, the 3200 MultiService Message router, the market for resilient and scalable application networking services has dramatically increased. Service providers delivering new value-added services and enterprises embracing service-oriented architecture (SOA) are benefiting through Solace’s unique approach to embedding wire-speed application intelligence directly within the network.
