ACTON, Mass. -- sentitO Networks, a leading provider of carrier-grade, distributed VoIP switching and service delivery solutions for global telecommunications service providers, today announced senior appointments to its management team, naming technology executives Gary Kraemer, Chief Financial Officer and Paul Nikfarjam, Vice President of Product Management. Kraemer will spearhead sentitO’s finance and administration functions including human resources and information technology, while Nikfarjam will guide sentitO’s product life cycle management including product direction and delivery as the company prepares to scale the delivery of its ONX System 3 switching and service delivery solution to the global telecom marketplace.

“Gary and Paul are respected telecom veterans with over 25 years each of collective experience successfully introducing complex communications technologies and solutions into the carrier networking markets,” said Dennis Chateauneuf SentitO President and CEO. “Their proven track record of building teams, defining markets and technologies and overseeing business units, makes them an ideal fit for sentitO as we accelerate our momentum in the marketplace and expand our global footprint.”

Kraemer will be responsible for SentitO’s financial and administrative operations. His finance expertise spans the domestic and international financial markets working with emerging and established technology companies. Over the course of career, his duties have encompassed directing human resources, operations, legal and information technology areas in addition to traditional finance and accounting functions. Prior to sentitO, Kraemer was CFO at Tira Wireless overseeing the company’s finance and administration. Before Tira, Kraemer served as VP of Finance and CFO at Sandburst, a fabless semiconductor company, and before that, CFO at Bowstreet, a software company specializing in portal development tools. At Sandburst and Bowstreet, Kraemer raised in excess of $175 million in venture capital funding and helped guide the companies through difficult market environments.

Gary Kraemer honed his expertise in developing and directing financial, functional, and administrative operations in senior financial positions for Bay Networks/Wellfleet Communications until its acquisition by Nortel Networks. He began his career as a CPA for Price Waterhouse and holds a Master of Business Administration from Rider University, New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science from Susquehanna University, Pennsylvania.

Paul Nikfarjam will oversee all aspects of sentitO’s product management department as the company accelerates its go-to-market activities for sentitO’s ONX System 3 switching and service delivery solution in new and emerging markets. Nikfarjam will hold overall responsibility for the product strategy within sentitO, serving as the focal point between the Sales and Marketing departments and the Development and Engineering organizations within the company.

Nikfarjam has over 25 years of marketing and product development experience for some of the leading network equipment vendors in the wireless and wireline carrier markets. During his career, Nikfarjam has held a wide variety of senior product management positions, defining strategies at each step of the product lifecycle and transforming emerging communications technologies into market adopted telecom products. Nikfarjam joins sentitO from Motorola where he oversaw all aspects of the company’s product management for its AdvancedTCA and SAF wireless application platforms. This marked the second stint for Nikfarjam at Motorola, as he served as Director of Product Marketing in the late 1990’s, spearheading product strategy for Motorola’s 3G mobile product portfolios and building up the division’s annual revenues to $300 million. Between his two periods at Motorola, Nikfarjam was Vice President of Product Marketing and Product Management at the start-up wireless infrastructure company Avian Communications successfully launching its first generation of wireless products to the global service provider market.

Before Motorola, Nikfarjam served as Director of Product Market & Product Management at Ericsson helping them define their product strategy for the company’s 3G Wireless product portfolio.
