Network-based firewall, antivirus, and content filtering services ready for carrier deployment following NEBS Level 3 compliance

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. -- Sandvine Limited announced today that it has achieved Network Equipment Building Systems (NEBS) Level 3 Compliance for the GSE 8100, a carrier-grade platform for delivering network-based services to broadband subscribers. In accordance with NEBS' standards, the Global Services Element (GSE) 8100 now meets the most demanding physical and operational requirements of service provider networks. The rating is testament to the horsepower and durability of the GSE 8100, confirming its suitability for deployment in a telecommunications or cable MSO central office.
