Redback Enhances SMS

(NASDAQ: RBAK), a leading provider of next-generation networking equipment purpose-built for the edge of the network, today introduced the SMST 10000 SL, an enhancement of the SMS 10000 platform. The enhancements are built upon Redback's industry-leading subscriber management technology with a redesign of the forwarding plane architecture, and a new version of Redback's AOST operating software. The SMS 10000 SL was engineered keeping in mind customer requirements to further enhance service offerings beyond broadband connectivity and deliver high-margin, bandwidth intensive consumer services.
