Radvision Enhances H.323 Toolkit

Radvision announces H.323 Toolkit version 4.2, receives Glowpoint certification for its viaIP™ 400 multimedia communications platform

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -– RADVISION (Nasdaq: RVSN), the industry leader in providing a wide range of development solutions for voice, video, and data collaboration over IP and 3G, today announced the general availability of its new H.323 Protocol Toolkit version 4.2. This toolkit is the latest release of the company’s award-winning H.323 toolkit and supports new features specified in version four of the ITU-T H.323 standard and additional specs ratified. The RADVISION H.323 Protocol Toolkit is available on many operating systems including multiple MS-Windows platforms, UNIX operating systems, and most real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, Nucleus, WinCE and Texas Instruments DSP BIOS.

As the leading industry provider of H.323 technology, RADVISION offers the widest range of development tools for creating and testing H.323-based products and services. In addition to supporting the latest enhancements in ITU-T H.323 standards, the toolkit also boasts a number of additional features requested by RADVISION customers, enabling them to develop new cutting-edge communications products or upgrade their existing product lines with new functionality.

Leveraging the carrier-class functionality and full SIP support of the RADVISION viaIP solution, Windows 2003 Server and XP desktops as well as other SIP devices will be able to use the Glowpoint network for their multimedia communications. And, by virtue of the viaIP’s full gateway and H.323 support, Glowpoint customers using SIP-based devices will be able to have multipoint and point-to-point calls with virtually any other video device - including those based on VidIP, ISDN (legacy H.320), and even new 3G wireless mobile video handsets (H.324M).
