SAN MATEO, Calif. and TORONTO -- Kagoor Networks, a leading provider of session border control solutions, announced today that Comwave Telecom, Inc. (Comwave), a leading North American provider of local and long distance service, has chosen Kagoor's VoiceFlow session border controllers for its new I-Phone VoIP service. Comwave is using Kagoor for Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal and network protection between carrier and customer to securely deploy VoIP services regardless of network topology.

Kagoor is the leader in Carrier to Customer session border control solutions. Kagoor's carrier grade network-hosted NAT traversal solution allows Comwave's VoIP traffic to traverse the many different NAT/firewalls in places around the world without configuration changes, added customer premise equipment or compromise to overall network security. Comwave is deploying both of Kagoor's carrier session border controllers - VoiceFlow 3000 and 1000. In addition, Kagoor's network protection provides topology hiding and protection from denial of service (DoS) attacks.

Comwave recently launched its new iPhone VoIP service. "Launching a robust and reliable VoIP local phone service can be challenging to anyone," said Yuval Barzakay, Vice President of Canadian Sales of Comwave. "Therefore it is paramount that you surround yourself with the very best vendors - ones that share your vision and never ask you to settle. Kagoor is just that company."

Superior interoperability was one of Comwave's most important requirements. In making its determination, Comwave performed rigorous interoperability testing. VoiceFlow, which has the only 3-way architecture that is optimized for interoperability, flexibility and security, passed these tests with a 100% success grade.

"In a short time, Comwave has become the leading provider of VoIP in Canada," stated Opher Kahane, CEO and co-Founder of Kagoor Networks. "Kagoor and Comwave both share a strong entrepreneurial drive to go the extra mile for our customers."
