Cambridge B'band Deploys 3.5GHz Net

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. -- Domicilium, the Isle of Man's leading ISP, has deployed Cambridge Broadband’s VectaStar fixed wireless access solution. This network is believed to be the first commercial 3.5GHz fixed wireless network in the UK, and Domicilium is the sole 3.5GHz licence holder in the Isle of Man.

Domicilium's network is now live and the company is already serving its first customers. Domicilium is offering a variety of high-speed Internet services to banks, trading houses, multi-tenant buildings and schools throughout the island. The company plans to use Cambridge Broadband's VectaStar equipment to provide complete geographical coverage of the 572 square kilometre island.
