BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Boca Photonics, an optical networking company providing products and services for optimized planning, provisioning and protection of dynamic light-path services, today announced that BrightLink Networks, Inc., a supplier of optical switching systems, has engaged Boca Photonics' network planning solution, ServicePlex Designer(TM). The addition of Boca's solution further enhances BrightLink's ability to provide an on-demand optical switching system that enables carriers to deliver services to customers faster and with more flexibility. "BrightLink's BOSS 1000 is the first optical switch to offer on-demand grooming and scalability, so carriers can turn a profit from the bulk bandwidth in their networks," said Kevin Hsu, director of product marketing at BrightLink.
