IRVINE, Calif. -- Entridia, a leading provider of high-performance packet processing and forwarding ASICs for converged optical networks, and Lara Networks, Inc., a premier supplier of silicon-based networking technology solutions, today announced design compatibility between Entridia’s wire-speed packet forwarding ASICs and Lara Networks’ network database search engine devices (NDSE). This partnership will benefit customers by enabling route and flow table densities from 32K IPv4 addresses to 3.9M IPv4 addresses operating at full line-rate processing with deterministic latency.

“As we continue to develop solutions to eliminate critical bottlenecks at the edge of every network domain, we are always looking to partner with companies like Lara Networks, who share our vision,” said Emil Chao, vice president of business development of Entridia Corporation. “With our wire-speed packet forwarding ASICs already shipping to major customers, we can now recommend Lara Networks’ NDSE devices to those who wish to further extend the wire-speed performance of our routing solutions.” http://www.entridia.com
