DenseLight Goes SLEDding

SINGAPORE -- DenseLight Semiconductors Private Limited ("DenseLight") has rolled out the highest-power superluminescent light emitting diode (SLED) in commercial volumes. At 1550nm the DL-CS5203A produces power of at least 20mW, clearly the best-in-class performance. In addition, the DL-CS5107A is another unique product that generates optical power beyond 10mW with a wide bandwidth of 60nm. There is an increasing demand for these SLEDs for commercial instrumentation, medical applications and photonic sensing systems as sensitivities can be vastly improved, allowing better signal-to-noise ratios, greater penetration depths, increased responsivities, and many more benefits.

These products join DenseLight’s family of SLEDs, which is the most comprehensive long wavelength range in the market. It covers wavelengths from 1310nm to 1620nm, powers from 0.2mW to 20mW, spectral widths from 25nm to 100nm, and the flexibility of being supplied in various form factors.
