Corning and D-Link Ink Fiber Deal

CORNING, N.Y. -- Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW - News), a world-leading supplier of optical fiber, and D-Link India Limited, a leader in the structured cabling market in India, announced today a strategic agreement for the supply of Corning optical fiber to D-Link through 2005. Through this agreement, Corning will ensure D-Link with a steady supply of Corning optical fiber products, including InfiniCor® and SMF-28® fibers, primarily to be deployed in premise wiring applications. D-Link will use cable containing Corning optical fiber as part of its Open-Link Connect structured cabling products.D-Link has maximum brand visibility and penetration within its market segment in India, and a strong and distinct brand image in networking, inter-networking and structured cabling products.
