KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Consystant announced today the StrataNP 3.0 Design Suite, a highly integrated software development platform for quickly and economically creating data plane applications for the Intel IXP2400 and IXP2800 network processors. With the new design suite development teams can now build high performance software applications for these next-generation network processors while accelerating time-to-market, reducing development costs and improving field support and upgradability. "The ability to rapidly develop and test software for Intel's newest network processors will have a profound impact on time-to-market and the ultimate profitability of a broad range of high performance network processor-based systems," says Lew Larson, executive vice president of marketing for Consystant. "StrataNP 3.0 combines extensive mapping, analysis and debugging resources with the ability to integrate third party and Intel software components, leveraging Intel's Portability Framework and development environment. These capabilities offer developers an unparalleled opportunity to develop high performance, highly optimized designs as quickly as possible." To accelerate development on the Intel IXP2400 and IXP2800 network processors, StrataNP 3.0 integrates a graphical design environment with a library of templates, example designs and reusable software components, extensive design mapping, analysis and debugging capabilities and seamless integration with the Intel(r) Internet Exchange Architecture (Intel(r) IXA) Software Development Kit (SDK) 3.0 and the Intel(r) IXA Portability Framework.
