Comtrend Goes to UK

TAIPEI -- Comtrend, a worldwide leader of networking solutions, is looking to further its success within Europe by setting up a UK and Ireland headoffice.

Headquartered in Taiwan, Comtrend has regional offices in Europe, North America, Asian Pacific, Caribbean, and Latin American. Its rapid expansion into Europe has contributed to revenue increases year-on-year of over 50 percent to more than one hundred million dollars. Comtrend boast major European telecommunications operators including BT, Telefonica, Telecom Italia, France Telecom, Portugal Telecom and OTE as customers.

Interest in Comtrend’s range of innovative residential and business modems, routers, Powerline Ethernet Adapters and Set Top Box solutions has been high among UK telecommunications operators who are keen to cut costs whilst grow revenue and market share through the introduction of new services such as IPTV.

Last year Comtrend shipped more than a million residential and business broadband modems and routers to customers across Europe and nearly a million Powerline Ethernet Adapters for IPTV applications.
