Mindspeed Goes to India

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:MSPD), a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions for network infrastructure applications, today announced the opening of its India Design Center (IDC) in Hyderabad. The new center will provide development and customer support for a broad range of Mindspeed communication products including the company's flagship Comcerto(TM) voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) processors.

"We are excited to establish a new design center in Hyderabad, a location offering a breadth of talented and dedicated engineering resources," said Raouf Halim, Mindspeed's chief executive officer.

The new design center will initially be staffed with approximately 15 engineers and expanded over time.
