Gigle Adds VPs

REDWOOD CITY, CALIF.; BARCELONA, SPAIN; AND EDINBURGH, UK -- Gigle today announced that John Gloekler has joined the executive management team as vice president of operations. He will be responsible for helping to drive growth and profitability for Gigle as the company enters a key expansion phase including ramping volume shipments of its first products to leading consumer electronics product manufacturers, worldwide.

Gloekler is one of three newly appointed Gigle executives that the company has added in the past 9 months, including David Sorensen, vice president of marketing, and Tom Foster, vice president of sales. Sorensen and Foster are based in Redwood City, while Gloekler will be running operations from the company’s Barcelona office.

Additionally, Gigle co-founder Håkan Fouren, the company’s current vice president of operations, moves to the position of vice president of product engineering, a key role that will enable Gigle to enhance and accelerate its customer-focused product development and other innovation initiatives aimed at targeted, high-growth market segments. A Gigle co-founder, Fouren has more than 20 years of experience in semiconductor product development and has led or participated in the design and release of more than 100 devices.
