The acquisition creates a single provider with sophisticated platforms and global network services capable of fulfilling not only current enterprise connectivity needs, but also emerging requirements for hybrid MPLS and Internet networks to establish more flexible, secure and high-speed access to cloud services. Service and operational integration will be completed this year, while customers will continue to enjoy NTT Com’s service quality and Virtela’s award-winning customer support, without any service migration or changes.
