Chiaro Networks secures another $80 million in venture capital

RICHARDSON, Texas -- Chiaro Networks today announced the completion of its fourth funding round of $80 million.

To date, the company has raised a total of $210 million.

New backers, Delta Ventures, LandHo Ventures and Poalim Capital Markets, joined Chiaro's current high-profile venture capitalists, including CenterPoint Ventures, InterWest Partners, Rho Ventures, Sevin Rosen Funds and STAR Ventures.

"We're always looking to invest in emerging technology companies with products destined for a market leadership role, and with Chiaro, we have just that," said Jon Bayless, partner at Sevin Rosen Funds. "With no hype, excellent customer traction, and continued strong support of the investment community, Chiaro is building a true next-generation platform."
