ATLANTA -- Hitachi Telecom (USA), Inc. today announced that the company has teamed up with Falcon IP/Complete of Malden, Missouri, to provide a fully integrated MPEG-4 IPTV solution for service providers who are implementing Hitachi's AMN1220 Gigabit Passive Optical Network Fiber to the Premises solution. The combined solution is especially suited for municipalities, master planned communities and telcos that provide triple play services to rural areas and smaller communities that need a source for their own competitive video offering.

Channel lineups are flexible, and currently include 180 standard definition and 32 HDTV channels, along with 56 music channels, and all local channels.

"Our concept of 'Bird to box' is unique, in that we provide the complete solution from satellite selection to the subscriber's set top box. We take care of all integration and installation of the equipment and software required for services delivery as well as ongoing 24/7 support," said Donald R. Cook, president and CEO for Falcon IP/Complete.
