C-COR to sell its DV6000 line of video systems to Newfound Technology

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- C-COR Incorporated (Nasdaq: CCBL), a global provider of interoperable solutions that simplify the transition to on demand networks, today announced that the Company has reached an understanding on the principal terms with Newfound Technology Inc., a privately held, Massachusetts-based supplier of electronic hardware, under which Newfound Technology will acquire the assets and intellectual property of C-COR’s DV6000® product line. The transaction is subject to negotiation and execution of a definitive purchase agreement as well as customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of C-COR’s fiscal year 2006.
