NEW YORK -- Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC) today announced it has received Carrier Ethernet (CE) 2.0 certifications from the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) for the company’s Wholesale E-Access (Access EPL/Access EVPL) services. TWCBC has now earned MEF CE 2.0 certifications for all eight service configurations, becoming the first North American company to do so. In January, TWCBC was certified for the retail service types: E-Line (EPL/EVPL), E-LAN (EP-LAN/EVP-LAN) and E-Tree (EP-Tree/EVP-Tree). The company also has a total of 81 MEF-certified employees, 24 of whom are CE 2.0 certified.

TWCBC’s Wholesale E-Access services provide reliable, ubiquitous metro access with dedicated, scalable capacity and flexible bandwidth options. These services are delivered through over 75 External Network-to-Network Interface (ENNI) locations across the company’s footprint.
