AUSTIN, TX -- Motive Communications, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent service software, and BroadJump, Inc., the leading provider of broadband software for DSL, cable, and wireless broadband providers, today announced the two companies have signed a definitive agreement for Motive to acquire BroadJump in a stock-for-stock transaction. The two companies enter the deal with significant business momentum, creating combined revenue and profitability results that few software companies achieve. On a combined basis, the companies will have in excess of $100M in revenues in 2002, and more than $100M in assets.
