LONDON -- D-Link, the leading manufacturer of networking solutions to the SoHo, SME and Enterprise environments has today announced the appointment of Kevin Wen, as President of D-Link, Europe. He replaces JC Liao who has himself been promoted to become the President of D-Link Corporation.

For the past four months, Mr Wen has been Vice President of D-Link Southern Europe, previous to this he was the Managing Director of D-Link Australia for six year with exceptional success.

"Kevin was a major driving force in Australia and made D-Link a major networking vendor in both Australia and New Zealand, "said Tahira Perveen Sales Manager, D-Link, UK and Ireland. " Kevin is a valuable asset to D-Link and brings to Europe his extraordinary skills in business negotiations and competitive analysis, as well as a vast product knowledge and an excellent understanding of routes to market."

"D-Link already has a strong business in Europe and my aim is for us to improve on that position by building the brand further and strengthening our position as a quality networking vendor of wireless, broadband and switching products."

Kevin will be based out of D-Link´s UK Headquarters in London. He has also worked for several other companies such as Digital Equipment Corp, Cisco Systems and Tech Pacific.
