ACTON, Mass. -- Tenor Networks(tm), a leading provider of communications equipment that offers Service Intelligence for Optical Networks(tm), today announced the opening of its new European Development Center in Edinburgh, Scotland. Tenor's European team complements the world-class research and development organization located at the company's headquarters in Acton, Mass. With more than 15 years of experience in telecommunications, Ritchie McBride, together with Senior Architect Robin Iddon, is spearheading Tenor's European technical development effort.

"With business networks forecasted to deliver in excess of $100 Billion of differentiated service level revenue worldwide in 2002, the timing is just right for this expansion," said David Tolwinski, president and chief executive officer at Tenor Networks.
