3:00 PM -- So a hedge fund named Pirate Capital has been making the headlines lately because it has run into trouble with the SEC, and now it is apparently experiencing a staff exodus.

Pirate Capital. Hmmmm. Let's see: It's in trouble with the law. Folks are jumping ship. Har. Naw, that's just too easy.

Is it just me, or is Pirate Capital the dumbest possible name for an investment company? Kind of asking for trouble, aren't you?

Why not start an investment fund called Rape, Pillage, and Steal LLC?
