FREMONT, Calif. -- Axon Photonics, a designer and manufacturer or planar waveguide components, InP-based SOAs and integrated optical components, announces the release of its polarization maintaining (PM) AWG. The precision aligned PM fibers guarantee a high extinction ratio of >18dB, making the PM AWG suitable for polarization interleaving. The PM AWG is available in channel counts up to 40 and shares the same high performance characteristics of their standard AWG line such as low loss and low crosstalk.
