HERNDON, Va., and EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. -- Ai Metrix, Inc., the technology leader in comprehensive service management software, today announced that its Board of Directors has named Richard J. Hanna as chief executive officer. Mr. Hanna will be tasked with managing the growth of Ai Metrix as it continues to expand its Commercial and Government customer bases. He will also complete the transition of the company's headquarters from El Dorado Hills, California to Northern Virginia. Mr. Hanna brings over 20 years of telecommunications experience to Ai Metrix. Most recently, Hanna was CEO of Cidera, a Broadcast Internet company in Laurel, Maryland. Prior to that, Hanna spent the past seven years pioneering the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) market, first at MFS Intelenet, as president and CEO, where he helped build the first national CLEC, and then at Teligent, where he was president of field operations and subsequently, president of Teligent International. His telecommunications career also encompasses senior sales and marketing positions at MCI in Washington D.C. and at AT&T in Basking Ridge, NJ."Rick's extensive experience in the telecom industry and his ability to manage growth in young, aggressive companies is exactly what we were looking for in our CEO," said Pete Oliver, chairman and chief software architect for Ai Metrix.
